I call these cupping bowls because of the way sit comfortably in the hands, our fingers holding their dimpled indents. The dimples are made by pushing gently into the pot’s sides whilst the clay is still on the wheel and very soft and malleable. They have many different uses as containers, serving bowls and drinking vessels.
