Menna Buss is a participatory textiles artist based in Swansea. With a background in costume and over 20 years of teaching experience, Menna shares rich knowledge of textiles processes including natural dyeing and mending. She is most interested in the storytelling potential of embroidery and the power of ‘stitch circles’ to bring people together.

At Bridge Pottery, Menna offers a ‘Stitch Day’ to deep dive into the wonders of World embroidery. You will see examples from India to Panama and explore embroidery materials and techniques to create your own piece.

Sunday 20th September, 10am–4pm, £30 per person. Spaces are limited.

All materials provided.

You may wish to bring some of your own threads and/or hand sewing kit.

Refreshments are included, please bring your own lunch.
